1/23/09- Lost in Space, Tahiti Stop: Friday
The traveling wasn’t nearly as bad as I anticipated. Although, flying Air Tahiti brought many suprises- for example, the dominant language used on the plane was French. Tahiti is part of the French Polynesia. Katy and I passed the time with the aide of our sleeping pills and also by being intrigued in conversation with our first Australian mate, Jamie. Jamie and I bonded in Tahiti and had a good chat about the Hillsong Church and Christianity in general. It was an eye-opening and enjoyable conversation. When we landed in Tahiti it was the middle of the night and hot. We were greeted with fresh flowers, ladies in lays, and no air conditioner. Thankfully we got to stretch our legs here and change plans—1/2 way to Sydney!
